Simplot Visitor Experience Center
Tangible interactive exhibits
Our role was a technical one, to orchestrate the convergence of cutting-edge technology and immersive design, to engage visitors in a multifaceted exploration of the Simplot brand story. Leveraging a diverse array of interactive elements, the installation seamlessly integrates a myriad of sensory experiences to captivate and educate audiences.
One of the exhibit's standout features is its innovative use of 360-degree curved screens controlled by iPads, offering visitors a visceral way to travel through the layers of earth to learn about the importance of soil composition.
Adding another layer of interactivity are dinner plates embedded with monitors and RFID objects, which allow visitors to delve deeper into specific aspects of Simplot's operations and innovations. Whether exploring the intricacies of agricultural techniques or learning about the company's commitment to sustainability, these tactile elements provide a hands-on learning experience that resonates long after the visit concludes.
In essence, "Unveiling the Simplot Story" represents a bold testament to the power of storytelling and experiential design in shaping perceptions and fostering deeper connections. By seamlessly blending technology, creativity, and education, the exhibit offers visitors a transformative journey through the past, present, and future of agriculture innovation, leaving an indelible impression on all who pass through its doors.
