Gesture based interactive wall
At the heart of the installation is an interactive interface powered by a Leap Motion controller, which empowers users to explore and interact with the data on multiple levels: Local, Global, and Regional. With intuitive gestures, participants can navigate through a wealth of information, gaining insights into Mastercard's influence and contributions across various geographical regions.
Behind the experience is a custom-built Cinder application that serves as the backbone of the installation. This cutting-edge software seamlessly integrates disparate elements, including a meticulously rendered Earth globe adorned with cinematic textures sourced from NASA and bespoke shading techniques. Overlaying this dynamic visual canvas are a multitude of video assets curated by North Kingdom, further enriching the narrative and immersing participants in a visually stunning tableau of Mastercard's impact.
The installation's seamless integration extends beyond the digital realm, with a meticulously designed physical kiosk housing the requisite hardware components. Here, a Leap Motion sensor and an Arduino microcontroller work in concert, synchronizing user interactions with the immersive graphics displayed on-screen. Complementing the digital experience is lighting controlled by the Arduino, adding an element of tangible interactivity that enhances the overall ambiance and engagement.
Priceless by Numbers represents a convergence of cutting-edge technology, captivating storytelling, and seamless user interaction. By seamlessly blending digital innovation with tactile engagement, the installation offers attendees a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Mastercard's transformative journey, gaining a deeper understanding of the company's global reach and enduring impact.
